Cherries are the latest addition to the products supplied by the Rivoira Group. The aim is to plant 150 hectares of the very latest varieties in the next five years. As with apple trees, we are simultaneously researching other varieties of cherries to identify the ones that are most suitable and able to properly meet the demands of the market.

This is an innovative project, as all of the fields planted are equipped with a rain and insect protection system that uses covers.

This system ensures that the producer is able to harvest healthy, high-quality products with a small number of active substances, which also has a major impact on environmental sustainability.
