Dori is a kiwi with a yellow flesh, a strong, golden colour, with a good size and texture and a unique, aromatic flavour, with notes of pineapple, strawberry, apricot and blueberry.
In addition to its long shelf life, another benefit of this fruit is its ripening period: harvesting begins 35-40 days before the Hayward kiwi, thus giving it the key advantage of reaching the market earlier than traditional crops. This variety is called AC 1536 and it is sold under the brand name Dori.
